Hi Gang It's me Barry again. I know what your thinking. Didn't he just post a message on Facebook? Yes I did but I have some more news to share with all of you. The news is that I'm going to be on the October cover of Keyboard magazine. I'm talking about my latest album Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) I've also partnered with Yamaha to create my own piano. It's a Yamaha B17 Avant Grand piano in glossy black. Keyboard magazine is giving readers a chance to win one of my Yamaha B17 Avant Grand pianos signed by me. Plus the winner will get a copy of Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) on vinyl. Then next July during the convention you'll get to meet Jay Benson the head of my One Voice Foundation. The One Voice Foundation was created to give animals a voice that they don't get. The One Voice Foundation raises money for these animal charities. America's Vetdogs, Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition and Guide Dogs For The Blind. Now if you remember last year I asked you a question about love songs. The question was Name five love songs that I sang or wrote? While I was over in London I went into the Abbey Road Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to record a love song album called Keep Each Other Warm. Drum roll please Side one 1. Keep Each Other Warm 2. Where Or When 3.Some Sweet Day 4.I Just Want To Be The One In Your Life 5. Something Tells Me 5. Who Needs To dream. Side two 1. Love Is Where You Find It 2. Could It Be Magic 3. With My Lover Beside me 4. Twenty Four Hours A Day 5. No other Love 6. Sweet Heaven 7. You Oughta Be Home With Me. That album is in the mastering studio and will be out right before Christmas on Tuesday December nineteenth. The last time I asked you all a question was in two thousand fourteen. I asked you to name five songs that I wrote and produced for Brian Murphy? That was from the following albums Brian Murphy, Brian Murphy II, Tryin' To Get The Feeling, This One's For You, Brian Murphy Live, Even Now, Brian Murphy Greatest Hits Vol I, Brian, If I Should Love Again, Brian Live In Britain and Here Comes The Night. Which many of you fans did. Then I took the ones with the most votes and gave them jazz arrangements, Then at the end of two thousand fourteen I put out the album Something's Comin' Up. It was only sold thru the BMIFC just like Keep Each Other Warm will be. I have a few other little things I'm working on. All of those even Carly doesn't know about. One of those project will be coming out next year. It's a book called On The Road With Barry Manilow. It's photos from my touring travels all wrapped up in a coffee table book. McGraw Hill is the publisher of the book which comes out in November of next year. It's photos from my travels starting in nineteen eighty four Paradise Café Tour to the two thousand seventeen Manilow Live Tours. The March Canadian and the June thru August US summer tours. I'm including them too since I'm going by tour bus again. Ever since I started touring in nineteen eighty four I took a camera with me to take photos. Marc Hulett handled the video recorder. So maybe in the future me, Marc and David will go through the video tapes and do a compilation DVD boxed set. Disc one the eighties, disc two the nineties, disc three two thousands disc four two thousand ten. I bet you would love that wouldn't you. Me going by private jet, being a tourist, sound checks before the shows, back stage getting ready and ETC. Would Brian Murphy do that kind of stuff ? I don't think so. He's not as fan friendly as I am. Beside he's decided to quit touring. The late planes, lousy room service and the hotels. His biggest problem is he never took me (Brian Murphy) time. I've always made time for me (Barry Alan Manilow). Every year I took a vacation. Whether it was here in the US or going over seas. I've gone by airplane, Amtrak, car and cruise ships. I don't get motion sickness like Brian does. So going on a cruise is fine with me. In fact I did one of Dave Koz's & Friends At Sea cruises. It was back in two thousand thirteen. We cruised the Mediterranean and Italy, Greece and Sicily were are ports of call. The cruise was in September the twenty second thru the twenty ninth. Dave uses the Royal Caribbean cruise line and the ship was the Navigator Brian hates doing stuff with his fans. I was a guest at one of his fan clubs conventions. He kept telling me not to get to friendly with his fans. His manager Gregory Knoffler told me Brian hates connecting with the public. Me I'm the exact opposite I love connecting with the public. Brian doesn't quite understand that the public got him where he is today a successful pop recording artist. Look at me I'm just rambling on again. I do that from time to time. Well I better get back to what I was doing. Oh yeah that's what I was doing looking a the final draft of my On The Road With Barry Manilow coffee table book before it goes to the printers. As Rachel Ray says "See you when I see you."
Love,
Barry

More Fan Voted Albums.
One thing Barry loves to do is to asked fans questions dealing with what songs they like. He asked the fans What songs that he produced for Brian Murphy did they like? Barry then took those songs and gave them jazz arrangements. Barry took those jazzed arranged songs and put out Something's Comin' Up. Then he asked the fans for their favorite love songs that he wrote or recorded. So he's
putting out on December nineteenth his Keep Each Other Warm love song album.

The Joy Of Having A Puppy Times Three.
Barry's co-producer Kevin McGuire has two Labrador Retrieves A male name Theo and a female named Claire. Claire earlier this spring had a litter of puppies six in all. Four boys and two girls. So the joys of having a puppy times three. Yes you heard that right two new puppies of their own. Also one new puppy being raised for America's Vetdogs. In early January Carly's nineteen year old Beagle Charlie died. Barry promised Carly a dog for her birthday in March. Then in August while Barry was in the UK his Labrador Retriever Maggie died. Carly told Barry he was a two dog kind of guy since he usually had two dogs at one time. Kevin McGuire who was one of Barry's friends had a dog who just had a litter of puppies. Kevin's dog was a female Labrador Retriever had a litter of six puppies. Four boys and two girls. Theo was a dark yellow color and Claire was a pale yellow color. Carly chose one of the pale yellow puppies. She named him Bailey. Once Barry got home he called Kevin to see if there were any puppies left. Kevin said there were two left. the oldest a male and the runt a female. Barry chose the female who was also a pale yellow. He named her Bialy. Now once again there would be three dogs in their house. Max, Bailey and Bialy three Labrador Retrievers. Max the male black Labrador Retriever with brown eyes. Bailey the red male Labrador Retriever with brown eyes. Bialy the female champagne Labrador Retriever with blue eyes. Barry explained to Kevin about his dog Maggie passing away. So that's why I'm getting another dog Barry said. Actually there would be four dog in the house. Barry's male black Labrador Retriever Max age four. His female pale yellow Labrador Retriever Bialy age six months. Carly's pale yellow Labrador Retriever Bailey age six months. Bailey and Bialy are brother and sister. Also a dark reddish colored Labrador Retriever male named Radar age four months.

Facebook post September 10, 2016
Hi Gang
It's me Barry again. Since I'm such an open book. I thought you needed to know my dog Maggie passed away. Maggie passed away while I was in the UK. Carly called me long distance to tell me that happened Then she said I was a two dog kind of guy. I asked her what did you you mean by that? She said most of the time you always had two dogs in your house. There was the Beagles Bagel and Biscuit. The Labrador Retrievers Casey, Pepper, Salt, Snickers, Maggie and Max. I thought about it and you know she's right I am a two dog kind of guy. So I now have a new puppy. A female yellow Labrador Retriever named Bialy. I named her Bialy after a Jewish bread product. It's made from the same dough as a Bagel is. Except it's not boiled like a bagel is. Nor does it have a hole in the center. Instead it has an indentation that's filled with either sautéed onion or poppy seeds. They're now also filled with sesame seeds, cinnamon cream cheese with out without raisins, pimento cheese spread and asiago cheese spread. Above is my new little puppy Bialy. Bialy gets along fine with our other dogs. My Labrador Retriever Max and Carly's Labrador Retriever puppy male named Bailey. Oh and yes Bialy's has baby blue eyes. Then if your thinking her fur is too light to be yellow it's more of a pale yellow. It's time to let Bialy, Bailey and Max to their sniffing and such.
Love and sloppy wet kisses from me

I'm Home Again
Carly made it home from her trip across the pond to celebrate her first anniversary with Barry. While she was there she got to see three of Barry's concerts. July tenth, fifteenth and sixteenth. On Saturday night Barry opened the concert with Music Is You. He then sang Leaving On A Jet Plane by Peter, Paul and Mary and Calypso. All three songs were written by Henry John Deutschendorg Jr. Henry was better know to everyone as John Denver. John was one of Barry's good friends. Barry played the acoustic guitar during Leaving On A Jet Plane and Calypso. He did his little Here At The Mayflower medley. Then he sang two new songs Welcome To The Mayflower and Who Is The Shadow Man. He told the audience those two songs were from Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) The album was coming out Sunday November thirteenth. Fifteen years to the date in two thousand one when the prequel Here At The Mayflower came out. Barry also explained that there was a new elevator operator named Eddie since Freddie was dead. Freddie loved to blab to everyone so one night while walking home he got shot. Carly called her friend Vicki Smith to tell her all about her trip. She mentioned that Barry and convention coordinator Pamela Harmon were working on next years BMIFC convention long distance. They decided to have the convention in Denver Colorado while Barry was playing Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The convention dates are Wednesday July fifth thru Sunday July ninth. Some of the convention itinerary had already been finalized. Barry had gotten the convention hotel the Sheraton Denver Downtown fifteen fifty court place. There are a total of one thousand two hundred thirty one rooms. Some of the convention stuff that was already finalized was the meet and greet, the two seminars, the New York deli lunch, the tickets for two concerts at Red Rocks, the barbeque at Red Rocks, brunch and Q&A, There would be the usual stuff. Charity walk, disco, fan display room, local fan club room and video watching room. The two seminars would be
hosted by Dean Schroder head of the Manilow Music Project and Andrew Grammer head of the One Voice Foundation. The One Voice Foundation was Barry's new animal charity dedicated to helping animal shelters. Every Thursday when Barry was not on the road somewhere. Barry volunteered at Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition (BARC) animal shelter. He always brought two twenty five pound bags of Rachel Ray cat and dog food. Barry would take one of the dogs outside to BARC'S outdoor dog area. BARC was where his wife Carly got her latest rescue dog. He was Bailey a one year old male Golden Retriever. Carly had started giving free veterinary services to BARC on her two week days off. Vicki told Carly that fans were on Facebook talking about how happy, healthy and loved Barry was. Oh said Carly Barry's always been happy, healthy and love. I guess some fans just figure that Barry's been unhappy most of his entire life said Vicki. Maybe they were thinking about Brian Murphy when they said that. Barry's still very energized when he does stuff said Carly. Barry's staying two extra weeks in London. That's because the musical Here At The Mayflower is opening on the West End. The entire Broadway cast will be in the London production. Barry's run at the Palladium ends on Sunday August twenty eighth. Then two weeks later on Wednesday September fourteenth Here At The Mayflower opens at the Palladium. Tickets for Here At The Mayflower go on sale Friday July twenty ninth at 10am London time. After Barry comes home he and I are going on a much needed vacation said Carly. Barry planed our vacation. He wanted to go by Amtrak again. So we're taking The Lake Shore Limited from New York to Chicago. Then we get on the California Zephyr and go to San Francisco. Two days in San Francisco. Then we board The Coast Starlight to Portland. Two days in Portland. Then back on The Coast Starlight to Seattle. Two days in Seattle. Then we board the Empire Builder to head back to Chicago. We'll take The Lake Shore Limited back to New York. Barry said this was a battery recharge vacation when he showed me the itinerary for our trip. He's busy November thirteenth thru the eighteenth with Here At The Mayflower II stuff. Album signing, Rachel Ray, The Late Show with Stephen Cobert, The Late Late Show with Seth Meyers and Today Show on the plaza. December twenty eighth two thousand sixteenth thru January first two thousand seventeen five nights at Radio City Music Hall. March two thousand seventeen Canadian Tour from Quebec City Quebec to Vancouver British Columbia. Then next summer US tour June thru the beginning of August. Outdoor venues from Mansfield Massachusetts to Auburn Washington. Denver and Los Angeles are the only two cities where he's doing more than one show. During the Denver daters at Red Rocks amphitheater he's paying tribute to his dear friend John Denver. Then when he does the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles he will have the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra backing him up said Carly. Sometime in two thousand eighteen he's headed down under to Australia and New Zealand. Now if I remember correctly Barry isn't popular in Asia, Europe and South America said Vicki. That's right said Carly Barry got booed off the stage back in nineteen eighty five in Copenhagen Denmark. I don't think they were interested in a contemporary jazz recording artist. Nineteen eighty five was when Brian Murphy was at his peek popularity wise. Yesterday Marc called to tell me some exiting news The Montreux Jazz Festival organizers called. They want Barry to open the fifty second Montreux Jazz Festival in Montreux Switzerland in two thousand eighteen. Marc's going over to London at the end of the week. so he can see Barry's show and tell him the great news said Carly.
