Facebook Post September 12.

Hi Gang It's me Barry again. I know what your thinking. Didn't he just post a message on Facebook? Yes I did but I have some more news to share with all of you. The news is that I'm going to be on the October cover of Keyboard magazine. I'm talking about my latest album Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) I've also partnered with Yamaha to create my own piano. It's a Yamaha B17 Avant Grand piano in glossy black. Keyboard magazine is giving readers a chance to win one of my Yamaha B17 Avant Grand pianos signed by me. Plus the winner will get a copy of Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) on vinyl. Then next July during the convention you'll get to meet Jay Benson the head of my One Voice Foundation. The One Voice Foundation was created to give animals a voice that they don't get. The One Voice Foundation raises money for these animal charities. America's Vetdogs, Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition and Guide Dogs For The Blind. Now if you remember last year I asked you a question about love songs. The question was Name five love songs that I sang or wrote? While I was over in London I went into the Abbey Road Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to record a love song album called Keep Each Other Warm. Drum roll please Side one 1. Keep Each Other Warm 2. Where Or When 3.Some Sweet Day 4.I Just Want To Be The One In Your Life 5. Something Tells Me 5. Who Needs To dream. Side two 1. Love Is Where You Find It 2. Could It Be Magic 3. With My Lover Beside me 4. Twenty Four Hours A Day 5. No other Love 6. Sweet Heaven 7. You Oughta Be Home With Me. That album is in the mastering studio and will be out right before Christmas on Tuesday December nineteenth. The last time I asked you all a question was in two thousand fourteen. I asked you to name five songs that I wrote and produced for Brian Murphy? That was from the following albums  Brian Murphy, Brian Murphy II, Tryin' To Get The Feeling, This One's For You, Brian Murphy Live, Even Now, Brian Murphy Greatest Hits Vol I, Brian, If I Should Love Again, Brian Live In Britain and Here Comes The Night. Which many of you fans did. Then I took the ones with the most votes and gave them jazz arrangements, Then at the end of two thousand fourteen I put out the album Something's Comin' Up. It was only sold thru the BMIFC just like Keep Each Other Warm will be. I have a few other little things I'm  working on. All of those even Carly doesn't know about. One of those project will be coming out next year. It's a book called On The Road With Barry Manilow. It's photos from my touring travels all wrapped up in a coffee table book. McGraw Hill is the publisher of the book which comes out in November of next year. It's photos from my travels starting in nineteen eighty four Paradise CafĂ© Tour to the two thousand seventeen Manilow Live Tours. The March Canadian and the June thru August US summer tours. I'm including them too since I'm going by tour bus again. Ever since I started touring in nineteen eighty four I took a camera with me to take photos. Marc Hulett handled the video recorder. So maybe in the future me, Marc and David will go through the video tapes and do a compilation DVD boxed set. Disc one the eighties, disc two the nineties, disc three two thousands disc four two thousand ten. I bet you would love that wouldn't you. Me going by private jet, being a tourist, sound checks before the shows, back stage getting ready and ETC. Would Brian Murphy do that kind of stuff ? I don't think so. He's not as fan friendly as I am. Beside he's decided to quit touring. The late planes, lousy room service and the hotels. His biggest problem is he never took me (Brian Murphy) time. I've always made time for me (Barry Alan Manilow). Every year I took a vacation. Whether it was here in the US or going over seas. I've gone by airplane, Amtrak, car and cruise ships. I don't get motion sickness like Brian does. So going on a cruise is fine with me. In fact I did one of Dave Koz's & Friends At Sea cruises. It was back in two thousand thirteen. We cruised the Mediterranean and Italy, Greece and Sicily were are ports of call. The cruise was in September the twenty second thru the twenty ninth. Dave uses the Royal Caribbean cruise line and the ship was the Navigator Brian hates doing stuff with his fans.  I was a guest at one of his fan clubs conventions. He kept telling me not to get to friendly with his fans. His manager Gregory Knoffler told me Brian hates connecting with the public. Me I'm the exact opposite I love connecting with the public. Brian doesn't quite understand that the public got him where he is today a successful pop recording artist. Look at me I'm just rambling on again. I do that from time to time. Well I better get back to what I was doing. Oh yeah that's what I was doing looking a the final draft of my On The Road With Barry Manilow coffee table book before it goes to the printers. As Rachel Ray says "See you when I see you."
Love,
Barry
