Onward We Go

Barry and company made it to Scranton Pennsylvania for Wednesday nights Toyota Center concert. So far the tour was going great. Barry got to see some new tour merchandize that The Manilow Shop was going to sell. He just really loved the BAM hoodie which was patterned after the GAP hoodies that he owned. There was also a BAM tee shirt The hoodie was done in navy with the word BAM done in navy light blue and white plaid. The BAM tee shirt was done in navy with the word BAM in navy, light blue and white plaid. Also the tee shirt was done in black with the BAM in white and in red with the BAM in black. BAM coffee mug in blue with white letters.  Then the Barry Who? wear.

The Williamsburg Tour 2017 graffiti keychain. For those who just have to have him a 6'  life sized head to toe of Barry. It was made out of some very heavy material that would stand up to anything. The life sized Barry wouldn't be coming out until after the tour was over. Lfe sized Barry would be wearing his first half outfit. The Harley Davidson biker boots in black, Lee cowboy boot cut jeans in black, white six button long sleeved sixties styled shirt and the leather duster coat in black. Barry was going to make sure that Carly, Rita and Zoey would each get one of the life sized Barry's for their own. Mean while back in Brooklyn Carly heard from her friend Janice. Janice had just sent her some photos of Brian, Gregory, Suzie, Alan and Scott hanging out in Cannes France. She mentioned they had rented a four bedroom villa along the beach. This is where they were going to spend three weeks  total. That would include July fourth. Carly send the message Janice sent to her to Garry. Garry got Carly's message and went over to Suzie's Facebook  page to take a look. That's where he saw Suzie telling all her Facebook followers that she wished Barry could have come to Cannes with her, Alan, Gregory, Brian and Scott. Barry was on tour all summer long so he couldn't go to Cannes to be with all of them. Nor did Barry want to go to Cannes to be with them.
He just didn't want to be anywhere near Scott Nevins. So that Scott could try to do something with him. The last thing Barry wanted was to have Scott Nevins trying to get him in a romantic way. No  Barry wasn't gay nor did he want a relationship with a gay man when he was married. Now why Suzie and Scott thought Barry was gay was what Garry could not figure out. Besides his relationship with Barry was more like a brother relationship than anything else Garry did have one older brother Robert. Where as Barry was an only child. Garry's parents loved Barry like another son. In fact they started the Barry Manilow Fan Club/Barry Manilow International Fan Club back in nineteen seventy eight. Nineteen seventy eight was the year when Garry took over as Barry's new manager. That was after Barry fired his previous manager Miles Laurie. Barry understood what Garry was saying about having a separate manager and lawyer. Instead of having one person doing double duty like Miles was doing. Plus the financial guy Miles hired put Barry's money in bad investments. At least now Barry understood more about the financial side of things than he did back then. Since Barry moved back to New York he switch business managers. Barry found himself a great business management company here in New York. The company was called NYC Management Company. Since he had been with them. his finances had doubled. NYC Management Company managed a lot of the New York theatre actors/actresses, TV actors/actresses and recording artists. His management company
Stiletto Entertainment had just added a New York office headed up by his former personal assistant and manager Marc Hulett. His attorneys were all out here now. C. Tucker Cheadle tax attorney, Sandor Frankle contract attorney. Jack McCoy and Abby Ross general attorneys.  NYC Management Company business managers Matthew Brooks, Andrea Marsh, Richard Dean and Zara Jacobs. The Barry Manilow International Fan Club had moved here too. Vikki Thomas director,  Alicia Galay assistant director editor of the online Barry Grams, Marcus Stevens artistic director of the online Barry Grams, Gladys Pinch membership coordinator, Mad Man Jackson Gray head of the Manilow Store for Barry Manilow merchandize.  Garry realized that moving back to New York was the right move for Barry. Plus having his attorneys, business managers and his manager in New York was also another good move. If Barry had stayed in Palm Springs he would have been pestered all the time by Scott Nevins. Besides he would have never met the love of his life Carly Nichole Simon who became Dr. Carly Manilow DVM.

Gracias Everyone Facebiook Post June 17th

Gracias everyone for the birthday wishes. Gracias is Spanish for Thank You. Yes Spanish was my chosen foreign language in high school. I am down here in Tampa for tomorrows nights Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater concert. For everyone going tomorrow night your in for a real treat. So far the shows have been spectacular. I celebrated twice with Carly. Once before I started my tour and last Sunday. I got two Untuckit's shirts, Jo Malone basil, lime and mandarin cologne, gift cards for Brooklyn Bagel's, Gap and Serendipity. Serendipity is a sweet shop in New York. They have more than one location. Then my major gift was Amazon's Echo Show. Now I don't get that until after June 28th when it comes out. Last Sunday while I was in Baltimore for my Merriweather Post Pavilion concert Carly and some of Barry Buddies came down for the show. Carly, Rita and Zoey stayed until early Sunday evening. So she took me, Rita and Zoey out for an early birthday brunch. Now today I went out with everyone for dinner. Next week I'll be in Pennsylvania Scranton Wednesday June 21st Toyota Center and Pittsburgh Friday June 23rd First Niagara Amphitheater. Then next on the list of cities is Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver and beyond.

How About That.

Barry had been wondering when Carly was going to break down and get herself a new dog. Back in January of last year her dog Charlie a beagle passed away. Carly had told Barry that she was going to get herself another dog when she had the time to look. Finally Carly decided to make the time to look for a new dog. Carly knew she want to rescue a shelter dog. So finally she decided it was time to get herself another dog. Back in December a female Pit Bull was brought into Brooklyn Pet Care by one of the people at Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition. The female Pit Bull was pregnant. The person from BARC told dr. Houston that the dog had been found wandering along side 495 the Long Island Freeway. She was picked up by a passing motorist who brought her to their animal shelter. One of  the shelter workers brought her to Brooklyn Pet Care Veterinary Hospital.  So she could be looked at by one of the Vets. Dr. Houston was the veterinarian who checked her out. That's when he discovered that she was pregnant with puppies. Two weeks later the momma dog gave birth to seven healthy Pit Bull puppies. Four girls and three boys. The momma dog and six of her puppies  had been adopted.

So the only one left was the runt of the litter. The puppy was a male. His fur was beige and white and his eyes were blue. Carly immediately fell in love with the little pup. So she brought him home. Barry was making his trek across the country. On Tuesday June Barry was in Camden NJ. After the concert Barry and company were able to come back to New York. At least for two nights Barry could sleep in his own bed. When Barry got home early Wednesday morning  Boomer was at the front door to meet him. Hi there little guy said Barry as he picked him up. What's your name he said. Barry looked at his dog tag and saw his name was Boomer. Well hello Boomer said Barry. Carly heard some noise downstairs so she came to check it out. How did he get down here said Carly. I don't know said Barry but he did. He met me at the front door then he scratched my pant leg wanting me to pick him up. So I did just that to get a better look at this little guy. He sure is a cute dog. Now the name Boomer fits this little guy to a T. I take it Boomer is the newest member of our furry family said Barry. Yes he is said Carly. His mommy was found along the Long Island freeway. A passer by picked her up and dropped her off BARC. BARC brought her to Brooklyn Pet Care for a checkup. When she was ready to deliver her puppies they brought her here. I delivered seven puppies. Four girls and three boys. The mommy and six of her puppies were adopted. However this little guy was left so I decided he needed a good home. I was afraid he might end up in the wrong  hands or home. I'm thinking a home where he would be use for dog fighting. Now I just couldn't let that happen to his little guy. I'm glad you chose to adopt this little boy said Barry. They all went to sleep. On Thursday afternoon Barry and company went by Amtrak to Baltimore MD for their next concert date Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia MA. On Friday morning Carly, Rita, Zoey and three other Barry Buddies were going down to Baltimore for the concert that night. Their next door neighbors Andrew and Becky were going to take care of Maggie, Max and Boomer while Carly was gone. Andrew was a professor at Julliard Music School. Since school had finished for the school year Andrew was off all summer. Becky was a chef/baker. Becky was the owner of Brooklyn Bagel's. A bagel and deli shop. Becky made the best bagels out there. Of course the plain were good. But so were the asiago cheese, cinnamon raisin, garlic tomato and onion flavors. Carly made sure she bought two of each flavor and a small tub of their homemade cream cheese for Barry. She also put some plastic knives in a zippered bag for spreading the cream cheese on. Barry just loved a bagel smeared with cream cheese on it. That was usually his favorite breakfast. Bagel with cream cheese and lox, juice and coffee with a splash of cream. Barry liked Seattle's Best coffee. Starbucks was too strong for his taste. Starbucks was the coffee brand that Brian Murphy liked. Carly and her friends trip to Baltimore was fantastic zero rain and low humidity. Once home she got a phone call from Garry. He wanted to tell Carly the latest news. The latest news was that Brian had inked a deal with the Westgate Hotel and Casino for seven  years. I thought he was through with constantly being on stage said Carly. Now what was that a few shows here and there. Yes I remember him saying that said Garry. Friday Barry's playing Aaron's Amphitheater in Lakewood GA near Atlanta. He's off on his birthday June 17th. Sunday June 18th  Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater Tampa FL. Wednesday June 21st. Toyota Amphitheater Scranton PA. Friday June 23rd. First Niagara Amphitheater in Pittsburgh PA. Me and five other Barry Buddies went down to Baltimore MD to see Barry's Merriweather Post Pavilion Friday June 9th. Then me. Rita and Zoey stayed until Sunday afternoon. I treated Barry, Rita and Zoey to brunch on Sunday morning for Barry's birthday. I showed Barry a photo of his major present which is an Amazon Echo Show. The Echo Show has a screen so you can look at all sorts of stuff. The Eco Show come out on June 28th. Prior to Barry leaving for Boston I took him out  for dinner. Then when we got home I gave him his smaller presents. He got some Jo Malone basil, lime and mandarin cologne. two Untuckit's shirts, some gift cards GAP. Brooklyn Bagels and Serendipity. Each gift card was for $50. Also while we were out I took him to Serendipity for an ice cream treat. Now next year Barry will be in Australia in June.  Thursday June 14th thru Sunday June 17th is the BMIFC Australian Convention. Barry's playing Melbourne Saturday June 16th and Sunday June `17th. Before the Sunday night concert I've put together a birthday dinner. I invited some of his dear friends to come down to Melbourne for his birthday.  All the friends I sent invitations said yes they'd be there to help him celebrate his 75th birthday. Your coming , Marc, his songwriting partners, his two high school pals, Melissa Manchester, Kenny G. and Dave Koz. Marc asked me if I was inviting Suzie to the party. I told him that Barry doesn't want to be around her any more. She still believes Barry is gay.  At one time if you remember she thought you and Barry were a couple. Well she finally got it through her head that your married. So now she wants to help Scott Nevins get Barry as his partner. Barry told me he finds Scott Nevins very creepy. Just look what he tried to do right after we got married in 2015. Followed us up to Montreal Canada to try something. We out smarted Scott while we were in Montreal and Quebec Canada. One we got home I had that real bad dream about being put into an insane asylum. After having that bad dream I had my neighbor Kevin McCoy's son Jack who is a district attorney in Manhattan help us put together a restraining order out on Scott Nevins Scott is not allowed within two feet of either Barry or me. He tries to do that he'll go to jail said Carly.

Concert Time

Yes it was concert time. There was Wednesday June 7th at Nikon Jones Beach with the girls. Then there's the weekend in Baltimore MD. With the Merriweather Post Pavilion concert on Friday June 9th. Now Carly had heard from a Facebook friend Stacy that the Xfinity concert last Friday June 2nd was buzz worthy. Stacy got an extra copy of the Boston newspaper with the concert review for Carly. In the review it said Barry Manilow put on a killer show. He gave the fans two solid hours and then some. Stacy and friends were going to the June 6th Camden NJ concert at BB&T. Northwell Health  at Jones Beach concert June 7th. Plus the Merriweather Post Pavilion concert June 9th. Stacy chose to bring Deanna, Erica and Kaley three of her Barry Buddies. Carly, Rita and Zoey were going to hang out with Stacy and her fiends at the Wantagh NY and Columbia MD concerts. Abigail couldn't go with them to these concerts. Her daughter Julie was due to deliver her twins on Friday. Since Carly and Barry cut their vacation short.  She went back to work one day after they came home from San Francisco. She decided to use those days for her weekend trip down to Baltimore. Barry did get over his case of food poisoning. Barry was off Monday June 5th. Tuesday was the concert  in Camden NJ. Rita and her sister Zoey were going to the show with Stacy and friends. Carly was working late on Tuesday so she couldn't go. She was going to Wednesday June 7th Northwell Health Jones Beach concert in Wantagh. When she got home from work she got a phone call from Garry. He asked how Barry was doing. Carly told him he was doing fine. Garry said he saw both  the Boston and Saratoga Springs concert reviews in the papers online. Garry mentioned he was going to the Hollywood Bowl concerts in LA. He also said Adrienne was coming down for the concerts. Then he heard from Bruce that he and Jack were coming out for the concerts. So all the partners will be there said Carly. Yes said Garry all the partners will be there. Enoch and Marty live in LA. Barry doesn't know that Bruce, Jack and Adrienne are coming to the Hollywood Bowl concerts said Garry.  I'm glad I won't be there said Carly. I'm sure certain celebrities will be at those three shows namely Suzie and Scott. Oh I'm sure she'll bring her hubby Alan with her. Marc said he and David were going out there too. Besides seeing the three concerts he and David were having a meeting with Kirsten. So both Marc and David said they'd make sure Scott Nevins didn't try anything. The thing is Barry's not staying in any  hotel while he's out there in LA said Carly. Barry got an invitation to spend four nights at Marty's house July 22nd thru July 25th while he plays the Hollywood Bowl. When Barry gets back to Brooklyn for the Ford Amphitheater concert on August 31st. Coney Island said their going to call August 31st Barry Manilow Day. Barry will get a key to Coney Island. But that's not all of it Brooklyn  borough president Eric Adams and New York City mayor Bill de Blasio have also declared August 31st. Barry Manilow Day. Now Barry's going to get a key to the city of New York and a key to the borough of Brooklyn too. Also Coney Island is calling August 31st. Barry Manilow International Fan Club Day. All BMIFC members who come to Coney Island and show their membership cards will get in to Coney Island free. Vikki decided August 31st should be a special BMIFC day at Coney Island. That night the concert at Ford Amphitheater will be for BMIFC members only. Marc, David and Vikki are keeping all this a surprise. So Barry won't know until Thursday August 31st about his special day. I  only know about this because I have to get Barry to Coney Island early on Thursday August 31st said Carly. Thursday August 31st is my day off so I won't have to take the day off for this. Then to top it all off the head of The Guinness World Records is coming to Coney Island to present Barry with a Guinness Book Of World Records for being the first Broadway songwriter to ever have four musicals on Broadway at the same time. Harmony Marquee Theatre March 2002, Revival of Copacabana  Gershwin Theatre September 2009. 15 Minutes Palace Theatre November 2011 and Here At The Mayflower Broadway Theatre October 2016. Let's add to that Barry and partners next musical called The Mayflower which does it's first regional in San Francisco November 2018 at the Golden Gate Theatre 2,297. Then the second regional will be in Philadelphia April 2019  at the Forrest Theatre 1,851. Barry and company hope with luck to have The Mayflower on Broadway in  the fall of 2020. The Mayflower delves into the lives of the residents from Here At The Mayflower and Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) Carly hung up after she said goodbye to Garry. Right after she hung up sh got another phone call this time it was from Marc. Carly told him about Brian Murphy adding two more shows July 24th and 25th at The Theatre at MGM National Harbor Oxon Hill MD. Barry said Brian should just break down and do a US tour. Instead of continually adding show after show to the ones he's already announced. LA, Chicago, Durant, New York and Mashantucket. Now Atlanta Fox Theatre and The Theatre at MGM National Harbor Oxon Hill MD. They are calling it DC. Last night me, Rita, Zoey, Stacy, Erica, Deanna and Kaley went to Barry's Northwell Health Jones Beach Wantagh concert. Stacy Erica, Deanna and Kaley are from Boston area. So those girls
were at Barry's opening tour  concert at the Xfinity Center concert in Mansfield MA. Then they also
went with Rita and Zoey to the BB&T in Camden NJ. Then all of us are going down to Baltimore to the Merriweather Post Pavilion concert in Columbia MD. Stacy, Erica Deanna and Kaley are leaving Saturday morning for Boston. Me, Rita and Zoey are staying all day Saturday and part of Sunday. I also heard that a bunch of Brian Murphy fans were putting together a video for Brian's 71st birthday which is next month. Brian Murphy was born on Tuesday July 16, 1946. Barry was born Thursday June 17, 1943. Rita mentioned that she went to a Facebook page started for Harmony Barry and Bruce's musical. She said since June 1st they've been putting up stuff to celebrate Barry's birthday. Now I've heard about that page said Marc.  The main page owner has fans believing she's friends with Barry and Bruce. I actually met the page owner back in 2001 at the second fan club convention in Chicago. Back then she tried to give me  and members of my local fan club the impression that she was best friends with Barry. However I discovered she is not best friends with Barry. Heidi Brooks head of the Barry's Paradise Fan Club from Philadelphia told me that piece of information on local fan club day. I was with my co-directors Rita and Zoey. We began the NYC Rhythm Fan Club Our local Barry Manilow Fan Club back in 1975. That's makes us the oldest sanctioned BMFC out there. This year we will be celebrating our 42nd year as a fan club. So our fan club decided to celebrate during the Barry Manilow Day on August 31st at Coney Island.

Xfinity Center Mansfield MA June 2nd.

Barry and the gang were back stage getting ready to go on stage. The band went on stage. They began the introduction number. Then came One Voice which was the piece that Barry came out to Out came Barry in his new concert outfit. Harley Davidson motorcycle boots, Wrangler cowboy boot cur jeans, nineteen sixties styled six button shirt and  leather jacket. He started to sing the title track from his  new album Williamsburg. When he was finished sing the song he said that's off of my newest album
called Williamsburg which cam out this past April. Now I also put out an album last year that was a sequel to my 2001 album called Here At The Mayflower. That album was about the people who lived in the Mayflower Apartment building. Well me, Adrienne, Enoch, Jack, Marty and Bruce knew that there were still more stories inside the building to tell. So I put out Here At The Mayflower II (Many
more stories inside.) That album came out on November 13, 2016. I'm just one busy guy and so far the musical well hasn't run dry yet. Now tonight is the start of my Williamsburg Tour. I'm playing outdoor venues all across the US and Vaughan Canada. I'm going from east to west north to south. I'll end this tour back in my hometown of Brooklyn on Thursday August 31st at the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island. So far I've been doing ok with the exception of a little food poisoning. Carly and I went to San Francisco for our vacation. The day we got there we met up with Garry, Denise, Neil and Adrienne for Chinese food.  Now Adrienne, me and Garry all had the same thing. The next day me, Garry and Adrienne woke up sick. It was determined the three of us had food poisoning. The place has been shut down for good. We cut our vacation short since I got sick. I wanted to make sure I was ready for this summer sheds tour. I was born and raised in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood by my grandparents and my mom. What do you say we go back to my borough of Brooklyn said Barry. The band began to play the introduction to Brooklyn Blues from the album Swing Street. Barry sang that song. Then he said how about we stay in Brooklyn and head over to the Mayflower apartment building. So then Barry began by singing "Do You Know Who's Living Next Door?" He also did "They Danced." Plus he did a few songs off Here At The Mayflower II (Many more stories inside.) Barry's set was the same set from the Mayflower Tour 2001/2002. Now was the time for a break.
That was so Barry and company could change their outfits. When Barry came back out he said let me introduce you to Carly "The Girl From The Bronx." She's the beautiful lady on the screen back there.
I first saw Carly on GMA in November 2011. I was on GMA with Adrienne, Enoch and the cast of our musical 15 Minutes which was opening on Broadway that night. Prior to us being on Dr. Carly
Simon veterinarian and Thomas Kelly zoo keeper were on. Carly and Thomas were showing some of the zoos newest babies. Carly and I fell in love and four years later on Sunday July 12, 2015 we got married. That's who the girl from the Bronx is said Barry. Barry then did his show tunes medley.  It  was songs from his Broadway musicals and his Showstoppers album. He also added a little jazz medley from 2:00AM Paradise Café and Swing Street. Barry ended the show with Copacabana and One Voice. He and everyone went back stage to change clothes. The fans started stomping their feet, clapping their hands and yelling Barry Barry Barry. Barry came back out and said I guess you're not ready to leave. No they all yelled. "Let's start all over again." said Barry. He then sang I'm Your Man. Still feeling in an up tempo mood Barry said now I usually do this song as a romantic ballad. But I'm thinking that maybe I should do this as an up tempo song. It's been done as a ballad by Brian Murphy.
Also as an up tempo song by the British group Take That. Then Brian found out and did his own up tempo version. Barry went to the piano and started doing Chopin's Prelude In C Minor. While he tried to do that Russ started doing the up tempo drum thumping  of Could It Be Magic. I guess we're doing that version I see said Barry. You're getting not one  not two but three studs for the price of one. So take that Billy and Kion. Barry came in on the first chorus. Now when it got to the BAM part Barry, Billy and Kion did the BAMS. At the end Barry decided to do a little bit more of the song. Barry gave the fans an extra thirty minutes of encores. After that he blew the fans some kisses. Then  gave them a wave goodbye as ran off stage.

Really People

Barry decided to go over to Facebook and check it out before he went out of town on Tuesday. He
made a pit stop over at Brian Murphy's page. Why don't you just go on tour instead of doing a few shows here and there thought Barry. Brian just announced another show this time in Atlanta Georgia at the Fox Theatre July 27th. Tickets were going on sale Monday at 4PM PST He also noticed Brian had congratulated some fan named Alan on his 500th show. Really 500 shows Alan. I wonder Alan do you have a life besides seeing Brian Murphy that many times? Barry knew of one of Brian's fans who's seen him 3000 times. Barry knew that fan didn't have a life. Barry checked his tour schedule to see where he'd be on July 27th.  July 23rd. 24th and 25th Barry was playing the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles CA. Then his next concert was July 28th up at Shoreline Amphitheater Mountain View CA. Barry would be off on both Wednesday July 26th and Thursday July 27th.  Mountain View was just slightly south of Palo Alto CA. Garry. Denise, Adrienne and Neil were coming to his Shoreline Amphitheater concert on Thursday July 27th. Barry would see Enoch and Marty at his Hollywood Bowl shows. He would also see Kristen and the Stiletto West staff there too. Bruce, Rob, Jack, Tracy, Marc, Andy, David and Karen were all coming to his Nikon Jones Beach concert. So was all of the BMIFC and Stiletto East staffers. Marc Hulett was  the head of Stiletto Entertainment East. Kristen Kief was the head of Stiletto Entertainment West. I wonder if Dave Koz will be opening for any of Brain's July and September shows thought Barry. Barry had spent three days with the video guys working on the video to go with the songs .Williamsburg was going to have video of Williamsburg with photos of Barry as a toddler, child and a teenager.  The Girl From The Bronx would have video footage of the Bronx. Along with photos of Carly Nichole Simon from infant to teenager. Livin' In Brooklyn Heights would show video footage of Barry at home. In his backyard with the dogs and
in his at home studio. Brooklyn Blues would have video footage of all over Brooklyn. New York City Rhythm would have video footage from Manhattan. When it got to the line "When I hit Broadway and it's time to play." The video would show the theatre marques where Barry's four musicals were playing. In front of the band the carpenters had come up with the skyline of New York City done in black. Barry tried on the outfit he was going to come out in. He went down to Carly's computer room to show her. What do you think? he asked. Carly got up and turned around to take a look. What did you do? asked Carly. I got my hair and sideburns trimmed.  Now this is the outfit I'm going to wear when I come out at the beginning of the show. Oh my goodness said Carly. Now your female fans are going to do a lot of wolf whistling. Can I take a photo? asked Carly. Sure said Barry. I take it your going to show your friends this photo to get them all excited about the Williamsburg Tour. So Carly took a photo of Barry that she was going to share on Facebook with her Barry Buddies. Carly posted the photo and explained what Barry had on. Barry's wearing a black leather jacket with the Brooklyn skyline and Brooklyn's In The House logo on the back of the jacket. A six button bib front shirt in white and one in black. Wrangler boot cut cowboy jeans black. Harley Davidson motorcycle boots in black with grey and dark silver accents. Now the jeans and boots Barry's wearing the entire concert. He's bringing back the white shirt from the Hits Tour along with some old and new vests and a black tuxedo jacket.. The sets consist of a silhouette of the New York skyline going across the front of the
band and backup singers. A large screen to show photos and video on during the Brooklyn and New York related songs. Barry mentioned the introduction number is a selection of his songs. The "Right here Right Now" piece. Then Brooklyn Blues would be the introduction number. Once Barry finished the song he was going to say "Brooklyn's In The House" and turn his back to the audience. That's so they could see the "Brooklyn's In The House" logo on the back of his jacket. On Saturday Barry and Carly went to Salem Fields Cemetery to put flowers on his mom's grave. Today May 27, 1923 would have been his mom's 94th birthday. They had brought some flowers to lay on her grave. I sure wish my mom could have met you said Barry to Carly. I know she would have loved you as much as I do. Actually I met your mom back in 1987 when Rita, Zoey and I went to Panache to see her cabaret act. We met her after the show and introduced ourselves. Edna asked what my last name was so I told her my name was Carly Nicole Simon. Oh so everyone calls you Carly Nichole your mom said. I told her no they don't. But if I would have said just Carly Simon people start thinking about the other Carly Simon. That Carly Simon is a singer/songwriter. Your mom noticed I didn't have a ring of my ring finger. I see you're not married she said. I said no I'm not. Then she said I have the perfect guy for you. So someday I'll have to introduce you him. He's very handsome, Jewish and single.

Hi Everyone
It's me Barry coming at you from Boston. I have exciting news. I've added one more outdoor venue to my Williamsburg Tour. I'm playing the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Brooklyn NY on August 31st. The Ford Amphitheater is a 5,000 seat Amphitheater. Tickets will go on sale Monday June 5th at 1PM eastern time. I thought I should do something special for my home borough of Brooklyn. I hope you caught my Karson and Kennedy interview from yesterday. Tomorrow night is the kick off of my Williamsburg Tour. Hope to see some of you there. Good luck getting tickets on Monday.
