Barry Here

Hi Everyone it's me Barry here. It's 7am London time. While it's 2am eastern, 1am central, 12am mountain and 11pm pacific times back there in the states. If you didn't see the latest Review Journal Kat's Column here's the snip on me. Snip to "Barry Manilow is expected to finally be announced as the hotels resident Superstar attraction, performing three weekends a month through 2018." As all of you know "I HATE LAS VEGAS" period. I also do not like being called a superstar. Multi talented entertainer yes superstar no.I will formally announce my six year run at the Tropicana Casino Resort this Friday while I'm being interviewed by Extra host Tanika Ray on the Showroom stage. I will actually start my three months a year residency in February 2019. I'll be there during the months of February, June and October doing three weeks each month. Each  week will consist of four shows Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will be leaving London Tuesday afternoon. I've had a great time here in the UK. Last year Carly got me tickets to see one of my favorite duos Tears For Fears Roland Orzabal and Curtis Smith. Somehow the guys found out I was at the show and also that I'm a huge fan of theirs. So they invited me on stage to sing with them. I told the guys I had learned to play both Everybody Wants To Rule The World and Shout on the piano. That night I played piano and sang with Roland and Curtis on their song Shout. So for all four O2 shows I'm ding that song. Heads up everyone I'm going to be on Extra this Friday. Extra host Tanika Ray will be interviewing me from the Tropicana's Showroom stage.  I will be giving fans a sneak peek at my "Tropicana Presents Manilow's Paradise Café poster. However because you're fan club members you get an even earlier sneak peek. So above this message is my Manilow's Paradise Café poster. The poster will be made available  in November of this year along with some other Paradise Café gear. Because this years New Years Eve concert will take place in the Showroom at the Tropicana. I will be performing at the Showroom Thursday December 20th thru Sunday December 23rd. and Friday December 28th thru Monday December 31st. Tickets for those eight shows will go on sale next month Friday February 3rd. Vikki and I are working out the final details of the "It's Just Another New Years Eve" Party Weekend in Atlantic City at the Tropicana. Now would Brian Murphy do this sort of thing? I don't think so. Three months February, June and October. Three weeks each of those months with four nights Thursday thru Sunday. Ninety minute shows with encores. His fans are lucky they're getting one year 2018 so far. With three weekends  and three nights each of those weeks Thursday thru Saturday. Ninety minute shows with no encores at all. I've said this before I'm three years older than Brian he's 71 and I'm 74. He has his A-fib and bad hips. I don't have any health issues so far knock on wood.  It's time I go get some breakfast.  I'm thinking about having afternoon tea during this years It's Just Another New years Eve Party Weekend. Afternoon tea would happen on Sunday afternoon. Yes I will be coming to afternoon tea. For anyone who doesn't know afternoon tea consists of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, preserves, assorted sweets and assorted types of tea. We all went to afternoon tea on Sunday. Boy was that good. As all of you know tea with lemon and honey is good for your throat. There is actually a tea company here in the UK called Barry's Tea. Well now I really need to get going so I can eat breakfast.
